I have also been teaching in some way or another for over 20 years. I have taken several art classes to learn new skills as well as to improve old skills. I have been creating art for almost 30 years. I want to share my love of art and the creative process with you. Section six - I will wrap up the class and share with you some of my art I have created using ink and tea stained backgrounds. Section five - You will create your final art work. Section four - You will learn how to make tea for creating your background. Technique four is how to use salt to create fun textures. Technique three is how to drip ink onto a wet paper. Technique two is how to use wet ink on water. Section three - You will learn four different techniques to create a background using tea and ink. Section two - You will learn about creating value with ink and practice creating value with two simple activities. I will also discuss the various materials you will need. Section one - I introduce myself and talk briefly about what the class is about. I then show you several ways you can finish your drawing and add even more of your style to the art. After making your background, I will discuss picking the subject for your drawing and show you my drawing process. You will also learn how to combine tea and ink to create the perfect background for your art. You will learn how to create value with ink and four different techniques you can use to give your backgrounds an extra something. In this beginner class, you will learn simple techniques for using ink and tea to stain or tone paper for backgrounds.
